This blog should have started the day after I finished school, as a new beginning of things. The reality is, I graduated from Dawson College Institute of Photography (cheers for the misspell in my name!) in December 2009. That was 8 months ago. At first, I really needed a break from school (I did full time work by day and full time college by night for 2 years), so I told myself that our return from a well-deserved holiday in Hawaii would be the official jump start to my new life as a professional photographer/blogger. That was in April 2010. I had a few trials at making a website/designing a blog, but I failed, called Richard for help, cried a little, and then postponed.
So I suppose, as a first post after my first post, I shall present you with what my graduation portfolio was made of. Some of it was shot in 2008 or early 2009, but the most of it was done between October 2009 and December 2009 – when all hell broke loose and I thought I wasn’t going to make it to the deadline. For that, I am quite happy with it – I’m amazed at how much I managed to produce under such stress in such a short amount of time. And for that very same reason, there are other things that I dislike about it – but that I am keeping to myself.
