The Symphony of Lights Show in Hong Kong is the most popular light show in the world. It is the world’s largest permanent light and sound show according to Guinness World Records! The show starts sharp at 8.00 pm and goes on for about 15 minutes with spectacular decoration lights, musical tones, laser light displays and even pyrotechnic fireworks. As of now, 42 buildings participate in the Symphony of Lights Show. The best places to see the show is on the “Avenue of Stars” on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, on the waterfront promenade outside the Golden Bauhinia Square and by the Star Ferry that goes across the Victoria Harbour. Also, you should remember that the narrations are given in three languages; English, Cantonese and Mandarin depending on the day you go to see the Symphony of Lights Show. The narration is in English on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while it is in Cantonese on Sundays and Mandarin on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Victoria Harbour Cruise
A visit to Victoria Harbour should not be missed if you are in Hong Kong with your partner. The best way to enjoy the beautiful skyline is by having a walk along the harbour and then, of course, you can jump on a cruise to enhance the experience!
