Yosemite National Park

Take a walk through the valley and bask in the beauty of Yosemite Falls, the Half Dome, and El Capitan. Yosemite is one of the most visited national parks in our country and after spending an hour there, you’ll see why it’s so popular with tourists. If you’re looking for a nice hike, then you’ll find plenty of trails to enjoy. Stick around until the sun goes down and experience the wonders of the park in a whole new way.

Sequoia National Park

Head to Sequoia National Park in southern Sierra, Nevada to gaze up at these truly magnificent trees. The giant sequoias can grow hundreds of feet into the air with some living to be 3,000 years old. These massive trees are a sight to behold, especially having the opportunity to stand right next to one.

Yellowstone National Park

If you’re searching for great national parks here in the United States then you should absolutely visit the country’s oldest national park. Hike the many trails and canyons, or walk through the natural setting taking in the abundance of wildlife that calls Yellowstone its home. Walk along the rivers or take a photo near the geothermal hot springs, but don’t get too close. You’ll certainly want to make time to visit Old Faithful, Norris Geyser Basin, and the Grand Prismatic Spring.

Grand Canyon National Park

Located in Arizona, the Grand Canyon is the biggest canyon here in the United States and one of the most famous in the world. It descends a whopping 6,000 feet into the ground at its deepest point and stretches over 270 miles wide. There are many trails to enjoy and there is nothing better than hiking with the canyon in full view. It’s truly an awe-inspiring experience. Take plenty of photos to show your friends, but you’ll always know that the photos will never do it full justice. The Grand Canyon is something that must be experienced in person.

Arches National Park

One of the most iconic sights out west is seeing the blazing red arches of limestone rock of Arches National Park. Located in Utah, Arches National Park boasts over 2,000 of these amazing rock formations. While you’re there, check out the Delicate Arch, the Devil’s Arch, and also the Balanced Rock. These limestone formations are stunning and will leave you in awe.
