1. It Isn’t All About Low Calorie or Low Fat Foods

Being healthy is not about low calorie or low fat foods at all. An avocado is very high fat, but it’s so healthy. Nuts aren’t low calorie, and in fact they are high fat too, but they are amazing for our health. Being healthy is all about eating foods that are natural and good for our bodies. If they are high fat or high calorie, it’s just about eating them in moderation. They will fill us up much better then a low calorie food made in a lab. You should avoid eating foods that are high in bad fats and sugars, such as processed foods. Eating natural foods as often as possible is the best way to go.

2. Health Is All About Balance

Health is all about balance. You don’t need to be the healthiest person in the world, exercise every day and eat nothing but vegetables. If you like pizza, have a slice every so often. Just make sure you’re not kidding yourself and tipping the scale. You are allowed treats and rest days, they just shouldn’t be more than your healthy days.

3. You Need To Be Consistent

Consistency is the ultimate key to getting results. You can’t be healthy for a few weeks and expect lifelong changes. Make sure you’re in this for the long haul. That’s why coming up with a plan you enjoy is crucial. It’s the only way you’ll stick to it.

4. Aesthetics Should Come Second To Your Health

Aesthetics should always come second to your health. Although we all want to look amazing, you should be more concerned with how healthy you are. 5. It Can Be Enjoyable

Did you know that maximising your health can actually be enjoyable? You can do exercise that you really enjoy, even if it’s walking in nature or taking a bike ride. It doesn’t have to be in the gym to get results. You can also make delicious food out of natural ingredients with herbs and spices. Just because it’s natural doesn’t mean it needs to be bland and boring. Enjoy your journey and you’ll really enjoy becoming the healthiest version of yourself.
